These portraits of the Bondi Lifeguard crew were taken for the Beast magazine. I am luck to live right on the water at Bronte two beaches down from Bondi and see many of them out in the water. They have some amazing and hilarious stories.

I have been working on a series of environmental portraits of local Surfers (local to Bronte in Sydney). The sunrises are amazing and I am trying to capture the beauty of the morning with the free spirit and inspiration of heading out for a surf. The portraits are lit to capture the detail of the surfers with the all the detail and colour of the morning light.
