Landscape Photography, an industrial sunrise, Keihin, Kawasaki.

I had been filming a short film overnight in the Industrial area of Keihin near Tokyo when I was witness to an amazing sunrise. It is times like this when I can understand why they call Japan land of the rising sun and have such a flag that represents this. When the sun rises behind a vale paper thin clouds it is a really beautiful sight to see it’s perfect roundness and to witness its enormous power in full detail. This sunrise lit up the sky in a beautiful but subtle array of colours that brought a strange beauty to this industrial megalopolis.
